LCI Security Ventures is a one person shop. I am Stephen Haywood, and I build and sell the tools on this site. I also run the consulting practice at LCI Security, which is where these tools come from. Each one started as something I needed on an engagement and could not buy in a form I was willing to run.
I have spent more than twenty years working in security, and longer than that in technology. I have worked as a software developer, a system and network administrator, a security auditor, a penetration tester, a security engineer, and a security leader, at businesses large and small across a number of industries. That is long enough to watch a lot of vendors look after their own bottom line rather than the customer's.
It is also why the tools are built the way they are. They run on your machine, they make only the network calls they were built to make, and they keep working when this site is down.
